1. Plunger rubber extruder

The plunger rubber extruder originated in the 18th century, and since then, in the first 50 years of the 19th century, the extruder was basically only used in the production of lead pipes, the processing of macaroni and other foods, the brick making and ceramic industries.

2. Screw-type rubber extruder

The rubber extruder that appeared in 1870 was the hot feed extruder. The rubber material it feeds is required to undergo thermal refining, and the feeding is uniform, stable and constant, and the material temperature is maintained at 50-70 °C. The screw is short, the thread groove is deep, and the homogenization effect is not ideal. from the 1970s. There was a phenomenon that the aspect ratio became smaller. Because the hot-feed extruder can continuously extrude, has simple operation, high production efficiency, and stable shape of the extruded product, the hot-feed extruder is still used in the production process of many products. In the production of tires, it is used for the extrusion of various treads, and various types of rubber, and in the production of rubber hoses, cables and other rubber products for the extrusion of rubber and rubber blanks.

3. Ordinary rubber extruder

The cold feed extruder appeared in the 1940s, began to be promoted and popularized in the 1960s, and became the mainstream of development in the 1980s. By the early 1990s, the products produced by cold-feed extruders in developed countries such as Europe and the United States accounted for 95% of the total production. There are separate screw extruders, baffle screw extruders, and cavity screw extruders. , transfer mixing extruder, pin screw extruder and multi-channel transfer mixing screw (MC T) extruder, etc.

4. Cold feed rubber extruder

The emergence of the cold-feed vented extruder originated from the design of the vacuum extruder screw proposed by Bernhard in 1956. The screw used in it can be divided into ordinary type cold discharge screw and strong shear type cold discharge screw according to the flow state in the screw groove of the narrow compression section of the rubber compound. The screw of the cold-feed vented extruder is divided into a feeding section, a compression section/throttle section, a venting section and an extrusion section. The throttling section adopts shallow grooves and equal-distance and equal-depth threads, which can make the rubber material obtain higher shearing and stable conveying process, and also improve the exhaust effect.
